A Poem by Maya Waller

Paint me

I'm your muse

Sketch each line

Erase the mistakes

My body is yours

You control the curves

The marks that ink my skin

The bruises unseen

The scars that lay embedded to my bones

My mind is yours

Manipulate it to your full pleasure

Erase my dreams

Destroy my faith

Take everything

Paint me

I'm your muse

Each line is shaky

But those mistakes are erasable

This was interesting. It reminded me of words that would be spoken from the soul of person to themselves as they gaze upon their own skin in the mirrors of their time. It's like it tells us that we all may make mistakes and those mistakes may leave their mark upon the skin, but to remain filled with hope, because time shall erase the scars of one's youth.

Great Ink!

Very cool, I like this. Kind of sad but open to anything it seems. Nice example of inner feeling being expressed.
