moonlight smoothie

moonlight smoothie

A Poem by Amidrea Ming
"

the most pleasant night drink

"

moonbeam rain

soft artemis twang

milky silver shimmer spill...

my liquid pearl

melts

through the obisidian

& sycamore sighs

into my cup

it's my favorite drink

sprinkled with starlight and

cosmic dusty dreaming of you

xx

This needs nothing more, for it has nothing more to say. The only thing I will suggest as a change is the "dusty dreaming of you"....it's a bit awkward in flow and image, and if "dreaming" is supposed to be a noun here, it's not completely clear in the line (there's something off about it that's not conveying that message). My suggestion:

"sprinkled with starlight
cosmic dust
And dreams of you"

That last line break really would drive it all home with respect to power.
But other than that, this is amazing! Well done!

This can be perceived in so many different ways, that's the beauty of this write. I interpret it as the feeling of blood rushing through the body, the quivering of thighs (since you mention Artemis, the Goddess of the hunt) the edging of orgasm and the sensual feeling of love and lust entwined to form a euphoric feeling. Some dreams take us to places beyond our body and mind and let us imagine what it's like to play with the stars for a while, this poem sure takes me there. xox
