Pictures of a Frozen War

Numb

Thats how I feel

I was almost there

Almost, but then you changed

Or I changed, it doesnt really matter

You swore youd be there

Forever and ever

Where

Are

You

?

Cold

Thats what you are

You sit across from me

Making small talk, killing time

Your frigid, cold and devoid of emotion, soulless

You attack me with ice daggers

I miss your warmth

Need your love

What

Happened

To

Us

?

i think you have a typo: "Your frigid, cold and devoid of emotion, soulless" should probably be "You're frigid..." common mistake, no biggie. i love the way the last few lines in each stanza get their own line. it's like a ritardando in music, and emphasizes the main idea of the poem. nice write.
