This poem is based off my last look off Navagio beach Greece.

A new land

A new life

A new beggining

A new place filled with promise

A brand new place

A sadness in my heart

Leaving friends

Leaving home

All for an undecided fate

A million thoughts race through my head

A thousand questions that need answers

One good thought

One consolation

One small chance

Just a chance

A chance to make new friends

Then a smile

Very well penn'd. well done. Great job done by you dear. But... i think there's something wrong in the third line... check that out... "A new beggining" i think you here want to say.. about "A new part of something ; a starting of something" .. isn't it !!!!!!!!!
so, if it is .. then i'd love to say you've got Spelling mistake, that's not "Beggining" .. it's "Beginning" .. that's theright spelling.
you can figure that out. overall write was good and great and your tittle, theme, concept all was awesome and powerful.

Not moving to a new place and leaving everything behind but I had an abusive relationship. He decided it was okay to put his hands on me and I left that very day. So I know what it is like within a matter of a second for life to change directions, moving in a total different direction then where you thought it would lead. I am lucky that I was strong enough to leave press charges and never look back. In some way I can relate. Mine experience is slightly different but creates the same emotions.

This was beautifully written! I really enjoyed it. You have such a wonderful way with words! :) A good poem doesn't have to be long. I know some poets who only wrote 3/4 lines. It's how effective it is and you poem is really effective!

Beautiful. I moved from Port Coquitlam to Calgary when I was young so I don’t remember the move part but I still have memory’s, pictures and keep in touch with my old friends :)
