Magic, red lace, stubbornness and trash

Magic, red lace, stubbornness and trash

A Poem by mel
"

About Jake

"
The wanting subsided
only shortly after
margarita night
was a hit
the wanting subsided
only shortly after
you slept in cotton briefs
wrapped up in me
stripped down
in nothing but
red lace panties
the wanting subsided
only shortly after
I mistook
what I thought was magic
for my own damn stubbornness
I did not want to believe
that maybe, just maybe
but more so
accurately,
that I was trash
used once,
twice
then sufficiently
thrown
away
