What are these feelings of hurt, sadness, longing, obsession?

Why do I long for you?

To hear you?

To see you?

Why do the cells of my body gravitate to wherever I hope to feel your presence

And then when you're gone

Gone for so long

The cells of my body dissipate

Dissolve, disintegrate

Like a solute in a simple solution, a drop of salt in a beaker of vinegar
