only a whim

only a whim

A Poem by Melissa Frost
"

one of many memories

"
As I reside in desolate confines
at the edge of your lonely road
I await your return

Your beguiling smile
Your perfidious soul
I succumb to your rapturous embrace

You enter me with righteous indignation
Fill me with poisoned nectar

A senseless gaze precedes a mindless backside
I know you're feverishly gnawing your lower lip
As I wonder whom your thoughts belong to

You found me in peace
You left me in pieces

Heart breaking, so emotional. I feel so much pain in this piece of work. The ending is awesome!

the ny giants 45, the washington redskins 14???

I am semireligious/ in that I believe that it is possible for the things that were torn apart
to be made whole again. If righteous indignation is what arises from an outraged sense of justice or
morality, then I have had my fill of that too.

I love this haunting ending. You found me one way and left me another.
Just tremendous.......dana
