The U.N.F.O.R.G.I.V.E.N 3

A Poem by Undying Glory
"

The last instalment in my U.N.F.O.R.G.I.V.E.N acrostic poems inspired by Metallica. That is, until Metallica comes up with another one...

"
The U.N.F.O.R.G.I.V.E.N 3
Unknowing his fate, he sails out to sea.
Not knowing where to go, not knowing what to believe.
Fear always possessing him, and everything that he does.
Onto the dawn and day, onto the night and dusk.
Reliving the times he blamed all but himself.
Gave all that he had, and now he's quite bereft.
In the end, here he is, disappearing from sight,
Vanishing into the sea, gone before the light.
Ending his search for a golden treasure once lost,
Not realizing that wasn't the thing he needed the most.

3 times and more, I've swallowed my pride.
Yet I could never say what I felt inside...
