good bye

a poem for our beloved mayor who just passed away.

as i saw his coffin

my hand started shakin'

realization came in

how short life could be.

as he's layin' down in there

i can't help but to stare.

i looked around and tears is all i see

but still i know he's happy wherever he is.

the past years for him was tough

now, it is time for him to take a rest

everyone was proud giving him a clap

as if they wanted him to know that he did his best.

their heart filled with pain

the clouds give sympathy as it rains

but the legacy of him will remain

though good bye started to came.
