flip feelings

a poem about a girl who accidentally fell in love with her friend and confused if the guy feels the same way.

falling in love with you isn't what i meant to do

giving you space in my heart isn't what i wanna do

letting myself fell so hard isn't also

but this stupid heart dictates me to.

my mind keep on thinking what's right

my heart keep on beating it's alright

my whole system can't decide

but in the end, my mind subsides.

the feeling was deepened every time

the right thing wasn't already in my mind

the expectations strike from time to time

but it's disappointment that i get all the time.

hoping to see your name whenever my phone beeps

wishing you remember me before you sleep

assuming that there's US that i must keep

but then one day i realize, what you showed me is too flip.
