The sad walk back to the golden gates of Alahsar. Part - 7 of "Before The Gates Of Alahsar.

"
7. The Tigress stands at the side of Turvehr, her head hung low, her face hidden by dark hair, tears falling freely from her eyes, in Heaven, the mighty cry tears from the skies. Mortal sea does now divide, Turvehr and the Tigress, side by side, they both, slowly, walk along, the joy of this day, now is gone. Athena, in her chariot of gold, follows both, her heart is cold, cold the aspect on God like face, deep-felt sadness, joy, does replace. Turvehr, slowly moving through the throng, Dark Man, upon his back, stays on, now behind Athena, passion begins, in fight of emotions, sadness and agony wins. Then mighty the voices all sing out, in one great, almighty shout, the words, his own battle call, these words are now yelled by all. "Walk In The Light," the words seem to hang in sky of night, Procession still goes sadly on, each heart singing, agony's, sorrowful song. All now walk with heads held down, they walk behind King Death, with black crown, The Tigress still by Turvehr's side, grief now unable to hide. Tears are falling, heart is sobbing, legs are weak and tears are dropping, Still, the last of the strength, that dwells in her soul, will see her too her final goal. Athena, tall and fair, alights from chariot of gold, she walks to the Tigress, but her hand to hold, both now walk together, on a sad march that may last forever. For never shall the soul be the same, only despair shall come again and again, for within the man who lived in dark, never shall life's passion spark? And King Death, he did lead the way, all did see his dark majesty, as slowly all did walk along, the deepest sorrow, growing strong. From the battlements up high, children watching, tears they cry, for, gone to death, the mighty one, whose final battle had been won. Oh, Alahsar, thy golden glory, shall forever tell the story, of the wonders of this day, of terror and great sorrow, during the fray. And now as darkness starts to fade, now, all looks dirty and decayed, the sunset, it shall soon be come, and this day shall truly be done. The procession reaches the golden gates, Turvehr, the Black Unicorn, hesitates, he shall not pass, he stays outside, ready to take his final ride. The Tigress still stands with him, the gates wide open, she looks within, her eyes now bleary with sorrow's tears, her agony brings forth countless fears. To Be Continued.........
