15 ….. You Are My Desire.

Come on a journey into my desire, 

to stand within your arms, this is my goal, 

within my soul, flames shall light up a fire, 

the flames shall reach into your precious soul.

As you stand before me in your glory, 

oh, my wondrous queen, your temple shines bright, 

come in my dreams, singing a love story,  

come into my arms, be my divine light.

We sing of great joy, in a love that is free, 

where we shall then taste of love’s victory, 

you are the beauty my eyes ever see, 

you shall ever be my love’s history.

In my precious dreams, you are my divine, 

my precious rose, my own warm Valentine.

Your collection has inspired me to do a Christmas Collection, but well... first I can be inspired as quickly as You do, second, my daily circumstances are hard enough that I can't always use my laptop or the internet connection (no power, no electricity, no communication etc....). anyway, I feel that You are even getting better with each new poem You write and share with us. another Romance at its best, please keep your heart singing in that happy, delightful tune of love ❤️

Knowing I, as You are, a romantic at heart,

One of my poetry students recommended your work for me to enjoy … I have read several of your pieces (so far), and there is no denying your heart is that of a true romantic bard.
With a classic romantic title, this piece has all the beautifully crafted bells and whistles a lover of romantic poetry could ever expect, and then some … I think your excellent syntax, metaphoric creativity, and imagery is second to none, and I have certainly enjoyed, "You Are My Desire".
I noted the word "Sonnet" in your intro; and therefore, expected it to be, but if you're willing, I'd love to go over a few issues with you in private that caught my teacher's eye.
It's a pleasant surprise to come across a poet who knows how to use meter and rhyme, on a site that's predominantly turned to Free Verse and Poetic Prose.
