Valentine's Collection. 2022. Sonnet.

~ Snowflakes ~

Snowflakes are dancing in the frosty air, 

they gently caress your hand and your face, 

softly they dance over your Auburn hair, 

illuminating the dawn of your grace. 

Tiny snowflakes are dancing all around, 

they are tumbling down from a light grey sky, 

around you there is not a single sound, 

your heart is enthralled as the snow does lie.

Oh, passion divine ~ you are my sweet song,

as snowflakes fall, my arms enfold you,

within your arms I shall ever belong,
I shall share with you ~ a love that is true.

Oh, tiny snowflake ~ you light up my night,

dance and frolic in your wonderful flight.

Good morning,
I believe this is the first poem of yours that I have read??? I often see your reviews under Lifesongs poems, so I decided early this morning to look at one of your poems and was so very delighted to read such lovely words...especially in a sonnet form.
I recently started posting poem ~ sonnets onto WritersCafe. First time I had posted anywhere. I knew nothing of sonnets or poem structure..as I had no schooling in it at all. When I posted my first poem Hand~In~Hand, I was immediately contacted by Richard who said that my poem was actually a sonnet...He has been so helpful with teaching me about structure and I have enjoyed the process.
I now have quite a few poems listed. Some are from as far back as 1970 when I was 22 years old.Those are posted just as they were written on paper way back then.
Anyway, I just wanted to introduce myself as I will be reading more of yours.
