It's Worth It

My tear stained face isn’t cute

But yet you still love me?

I cry over the most stupid things

Yet you still love me?

My tears they kept on falling

When I noticed our time was up

That you had to leave me again

This was the part that I hated…

The most.

But when I get back

to the part when I see you

I know it was all worth it

I could wait forever

If I knew that eventually

I would be able to see you

To hear your voice

To feel your touch

To see that smile

That I love so much

It’s all worth it

In the end…

It’s all worth it.

Oh, this is nice. Well, if you look at it a certain way it is. It can also be touchingly sad. Hah. It's definitely a good piece, and I definitely do like it. Relax on that part. Haha, but then again, I like most of all your work.

Love is sharp, doubled edged sword indeed. You speak well of a departure of a loved one, whether that be just to go to the store for milk, or gone forever. When they are gone, you ache for them, and are reminded of why the agony is worth it.
