Smokey

A poem for anyone who has lost a pet that was more then that to them.

So much I should've done when I had the chance

My love for you was never ending sort of like a trance

Only time can ease the pain I feel inside each passing day

Keep crying on the window pane and wondering what to say

Everyone is watching me, wondering how I still cry

Yet somewhere deep inside of me you are, you never die
