Hell's Door

Hell's Door

A Poem by Midnitefyrfly

Urges so overwhelming

Self control the main factor

Get through the pain

or regret my judgment after

Discouraged about the future

Guilt over past choices

Desperate to quiet

my fighting inner voices

Determined on life’s path

Feelings I didn’t ask for

Looking for strength

Keep walking past Hell’s door

I as you believe, that two are brought together, by the course of their life's knowledge at the time needed. The surprise is always when, where and for how long? We are always in a form of transition from our self until we find that point of a fixed moment.

The light I shine is the darkness lit by the light of your truth and its faith in self and another. If you could be any part of my life, it would be not a tear, which lives only to die on my lips. You would my heart, my soul's eyes, and my memories in ages pasted by your presence of hope, in love, and faith in death.

Certainly it's hard sometimes when choices of the past seem to come back to haunt us emotionally and causing us to blow choices of the present. Well written poem that I know sounds a lot like me sometimes.

What does not kill you will make you stronger. Keep walking on by. Lots of misdirection in this one. Lost and disorientated. Your strength lies in the present. Do not live in the past (remembering is enough) and do not expect too much from the future (for it may never come). Love and live the moment that is now. Good write.

Love the style. Can relate to your words. Will read more of you, soon. Thanks for the read.

Man, isn't this the truth. Always second guessing yourself, guilt and regret plaguing you. I know what you mean, stay strong. Good write by the way, full of pain and truth. T
