Covington Sawyer Rd.

Covington Sawyer Rd.

A Poem by Mike Espinosa

Downhill,
winding road,
my foot on the gas.
I see the cliff,
I see the turn-
I want to go straight.
To defy gravity for that split second.
To feel like I have control over something
in this downward spiral.
Even if all I control is the end.
I turn-
Why?
