Crow

Crow

A Poem by mikedohsays
"

I've always wanted to say something about a crow. Now, finally, I have.

"

Crow

Oblivious black. A rag on a branch

Nonchalant at height

He knows the fall won’t kill him

For his wings will flap at the air

And make the lightness of being

A natural thing

Such ignorance as I impute

Is actually magnificent

Implacable. Mute. Absorbed

It is only me who is troubled

So what if he wears black

And you said it so well. 'A rag on a branch.' The perfect image.

Beccy.

thanks Beccy. It just came out.
I like this a lot, original wording and thoughts. The first line is cool, not often I'm drawn in from the first line
