Boom

Boom

A Poem by Arly Parent

B O O M

the sounds bounce off the walls

with a click

lights play on the shadows

welcome respite

tired fires

cold eyes

emboldened faces

 B O O M

sound waves ring out, bouncing off faces and facets

places and hearts

loves and their parts

pieces of a day

 B O O M

the sounds ring out

quick clarion call;reaching ears, reaching hearts

Give me the hearts and minds

Give me the souls and spirits

the sha-

*((sha)-ttered)*

...the remnants

 B O O M

About
There's nothing about me. I play with pauses as well as silence. I write words, assign meanings and junk, and play with a language that might be as much my own as another. I don't know. more..
