attraction

when someone you like brings you joy and pain at the same time without them even knowing

you're an attraction 
and yet a distraction 
you're an ego 
but also a placebo 
you're a delight 
but can be a fright 
you're an emotion 
but also a commotion 
you're a soother 
but again a confuser 
so i dont really need you, 
i just like to think like i do, 
to practice how to move, 
so when true love comes through, 
i will have learned not to lose
