Summer romance

It was summer when we meet

swinging from trees

 It was our first love

and we were always pleading for

more time

but summer ended up ending

and we took the last August day

for our lips to touch

and we melted away

But it didn't last forever

and you had to go

One day fate came along

and we saw each other

and we fell again

 as our lips touched

and we melted away
