Hurry Up

Hurry Up

A Poem by Amy

You just love to stare at me,

thinking that I’m blind.

Hurry up and get over yourself,

make up your f*****g mind.

Time is passing you by,

as you keep everything inside.

Hurry up before I scream,

swallow your stupid pride.

You have to be ridiculously selfish,

thinking that I’ll run to you.

Hurry up before I leave,

but you already know the truth.

I see you trapped inside quicksand,

as you slowly sink into the earth.

Hurry up before I let it swallow you,

you pointless, greedy jerk.

All I ever wanted was for you to run to me,

to care about how I feel.

So hurry up & find me,

before you lose something real.

ZOMG. This is exactly what I am going through. And I think, sometimes, you just have to leave. As hard as it is. If they are ready to change, they will. On their own time. If not, then it's best for you to be on your own and untangled from them. To be truly happy, you have to be accepted for who you ARE. Down inside, your true you. I wish you all the best, and I hope that you do indeed find that person who will love you despite you.........

I really hope you get what you want from this person...and with an ultimatum like this, in my case id make up my mind extremely fast, Your piece was very down to earth written in a poetic format you emitted true feelings that people can identify whilst getting your own feelings out. very impressive. i like your style.

WOW AMY! I think this is honestly the BEST piece you have written so far!!

"All I ever wanted was for you to run to me,
to care about how I feel.
So hurry up & find me,
before you lose something real."
Like, time is running out and it's either they clean up they're act or your gone type of thing. He watches you like he doesn't know what he wants and you get angry about his actions because you can't wait forever. He knows he likes you but nothing is spoken for the longest time.
"You have to be ridiculously selfish,
thinking that I'll run to you."
That you'll make the move first coming back to him telling him how you feel instead.

ALRIGHT! So this was PARTLY inspired by me, hahaha! - Cause damn, this is exactly what is going on with M, so it's like what the hell? It's all there, the whole glance thing, time passing us by and yet I know he's greedy and is going to make me do it. Then in the end, something real, me, I'm going to pass him by.
SIGH! Okay this is going into my favourites. I know you gave me the Chicken Soup address, but damn, you needa send this one in! Okay, love you.
