Becoming

She is safe now.

Safe from all those who would seek to harm or stare at her.

Manipulate and judge her.

Ascribe false motives to her.

Cast her in a less than glowing light.

One of our  own.

A beautiful and damaged child.

As fragile as wind.

The breeze at last guiding her.
