CryA Poem by Mizuki TsukiakariDedicated to my cousin, Jesse Hill, who's battle with cancer was hard and brief. Words cannot express how much I wish there was something I could have done to help you.
In the star scattered sky of night
A bitter wind blows a fire Clouds gray rolling from distance to sight O, never the earth as drier. Beds of still stones dusty with no stream Rattling bare branches, roots shriveled on trees Reveal all with this single moonbeam O, five month, Angels, too long to cease. Moonlight silver lines, dull dark the autumn sky Feathers flutter gathering a welcome rumble Hearts stone cracked hidden amongst clouds cry O, all at once, sky tumble. The rain of tears, this earth they save Yet all in preparation; soften the ground to dig his grave. Mizuki Tsukiakari © 2013 Mizuki TsukiakariAuthor's Note
