Love/Hate

Love/Hate

A Poem by melril18
"

Diamantes start with one noun and end with its opposite. The first half of the poem describes the first word & the second half describes the second word. The cutoff is in the middle of the fourth line

"

Love

Careful, fun

Hugging, kissing, laughing

Family, friends, enemies, war

Fighting, killing, hurting

Hard, painful

Hate

This is a very clever set-up for a poem. Takes a lot of thought. Nicely done :)
