Atlantis

Atlantis

A Poem by blue blue blue.

She threw herself into the ocean
with legs stitched down the middle.

The waves were
much too quick
for her little fins.

Skin torn away
from her bones
and into the current.

Eyes bleached
blue to match
her home.

Small girls wash out to sea
where the rocks
and the monsters
braid their hair
and lay them down
on the ocean floor.
