I’ve begun to wonder

If this is wise

The things we do

And how I feel inside

When you are leaving

Come tomorrow

How can I survive?

Knowing you’re so far away

Lying in her arms tonight

While I am here

Held in solitudes cold embrace

Trying hard not to worry

Trying to forget

Trying to remember

The words you whispered

Before you left

You said you loved me

Said we would make it through

But you forget

And you move on

And you leave me behind
