The End

The End

A Poem by mnicorata
"

A poem describing what my end might look like, what it may feel like.

"
Can someone help me please
To take away all the pain
Waiting for death to take toll
Playing the violent game

There is nothing but sadness
Crawling through my lungs
And of all the times it meant
The songs that I have sung

Never will there be an answer
When I hear them tear away
The straps keeping me comfortable
The walls that keep me sane

And through those naked eyes
That keep me inside the bay
Never have I felt so horrible
As I trudge through another day

The hope that I have is lost
Another petal falls through
All the time something mattered
While feeling yet so blue

Soon I will be under the moon
Death will screech the skies
Everything comes to standstill
Away from seeking eyes
