Angling Downward

Angling Downward

A Poem by mnicorata
"

A poem describing the descending path that is currently my life.

"

Upon the wreaking pale of death

Ending the pale beyond the breath

So I step on closer towards lament

Of all the times I had always spent

Then the ocean turns on its side

Riding few and far between

Tearing itself along for the ride

The things that remain unseen

Awaking the disease inside the man

Gears unnerving all the while I stand

Through the gates of hunger dread

Thinking about what is inside the lead

But when the pain derives itself

Fairing damn, the final bow

Little do I recede inside myself

All the torment within the how

Toxic dreams describe the dream

Of all the times that have never been

The weight turns down on all to take

Timing the clock until my own wake

So when it all decides to implode

The drive it seems so slow

Till the balance tilts to explode

The mind breaks feeling low
