The Pilfer

The Pilfer

A Poem by moneki

He'll take your gold,
he'll take your silver.
He'll take your jewels,
beware The Pilfer.

Dressed in black,
he comes at night.
He'll check for you
without a light.

No one's seen
this man of myth,
but when he leaves,
your treasures go with.

He'll take your gold,
he'll take your silver.
Beware, my children,
of The Pilfer.
