Darkness

Darkness

A Poem by Domenic Stewart
"

A little poem I just decided to do on darkness, and maybe something to do with it.

"

Darkness is home to many creatures,

Some with terrifying features,

Demons and monters with fangs and claws,

Or simple animals with fur and paws,

Fears and paranoia bloom,

Unlike any flower surrounded by gloom,

The moon lights the way,

But there might be a killer here to slay,

It may be best to run,

Before he tortures you for fun,

Darkness hides many a secret,

Or maybe even a valuble amulet,

Playing in the dark is fun,

Just don't be caught sneaking around by the head nun,

Scary shadows and many a spooky sound,

Be careful or else you might run into a hellhound,

Darkness is the hiding place of fantasies and nightmares abound.
