My first ever and probably lousy attempt at song lyrics. I do better with straight up poetry over lyrics. 😅

You're gonna get trampled,
You'll have so many problems you'll feel swamped.

Your parents may not get along,
Or you may be stuck in a bad crowd,
Or something else that just makes you feel all wrong.

But no matter how hard things get there is always a light,
If you just work through all the struggle and strife,
You'll know that living is right.

I enjoyed this, was a great 1st attempt, many don't know where to start so they give up without everything, so don't be so hard on yourself.
Music plays a HUGE role in my life so when I started writing it began as lyrics...
At the end of the day lyrics is expressing yourself just like poetry...
