Love is

The definition of love.

Love has no definition

Neither does it follow laws

untameable , corrupt and free 

Love is not an emotion

It’s a miracle waiting to happen

To those lucky few

Searching for that eternal bliss

Love is a fleeting moment

Lust never lasts

Lust and love are strangers

Love is formed from hate

Hate is formed from love

Love is eternal

Love is … speechless.

I like your appreciation and dissection o the word love, however I am in disagreement with lines 11 & 12! Whereas, I do not think that they can co-exist at the same time, I do not think either that one is formed at the expense of the other, ie, you can hate without ever having loved or love without once ever having hated.
They are not opposites.

INTRODUCTION

I am inclined to agree with Nassira that it is indeed short and concise.

CONTENT

To be honest, I felt that the writer took a generic route of interpreting love. Do not fret because this is not necessarily a bad thing, but it is not my forte.

QUOTE DISSECTION

"untameable , corrupt and free"

Subjectively, this was my favorite line. Love is not something we can harness like a wild horse. Matrimony even proves that the problems will not cease to exist. It is what is the true test of love.

"love is not emotion"

This was the only line that I did not agree with from a poetic standpoint. Emotion is something that cannot be measured; it is abstract and therefore love is feeling. We cannot control what we feel, but we can decide the actions.

CONCLUSION

Primarily, I thought it was a sweet interpretation of love. Thank you for sharing :)
