lecture hall bathroom stall

I recite

    reading from fluorescent light

the echo

    of the walls

       of the dirty blue stalls

             prepares me

    for the applause

        in lecture halls

   in which I will deliver

seminars and speeches

   about now

about how

  I know it's not about how many situps I can do

         I can do algebra too

               and I can help you

         I can lay a the beach

               catching sun and having fun

         or I can crack a book

lock it down and get it done.
