Bliss

Bliss

A Poem by coastalman

The masses resurge again:
mindless, heartless and soulless.
Society has them in its firm grip,
living as they were on a neverending trip.
Oh, how I pity them,
Oh, how I envy them...
They say ignorance is bliss,
thou is it really?
Following the silluates at the top
thinking they will end up like the pop'.
Is it really worth it?
Blinded by the lifestyle
thinking that they're the lily in the Nile.
Head in first,
life in last.
A never ending cycle,
like a wheel of a bicycle
Oh, how I pity them,
Oh, how I envy them...
