From the Soul

I was feeling very inspired by how people can help and uplift others.

As I extend my hands toward the heavens

I call upon the core that guides our spirits

Helping us ignore the shadows of the fallen legacy

Paving the way for a new generation of Gods of men

Pushing away the prophecies of a stolen culture

Retooling the mind of a powerful presence

Understanding the past, transforming the present

Rewriting a known future for lost souls

Supplying the recreated mind with passion of life

Striking the humanity’s inner energy

Defibrillating the cycle of worthiness

Crying to the super natural for a teacher

A presence that will open hearts of the misplaced

And engulf all the hatred from ignorance

Lengthening a hand to the emptiness of an singular

Crafting ideas of inseparability within this colony of organism

Migrating across the universe of reality

Manifesting a new conclusion of interactions

Educating the mentality as an entirety

Looking into each other for that reassurance of existence

Given our essence away freely

Helping all understand the urgency

That we can change the appearance of us

Discovering a fresh likeness of optimism

Loving each blemish only to correct the identity

Respecting the lurking doubt of our awareness

Pushing across lines for perfection

Molding a new mortality of rejoice

I am amazed by the depth of this piece.
There is so much that has been said that need
to understand deeply to unveil the intended message.
As a whole I read it as the responsibility and more as
the purpose of a poet/writer!
It does speak my soul as poet!

First off- I love the title. I like to think of things, words, thoughts or actions as coming from the soul.

In the first stanza I like the use of the word "core" and how you are calling upon it. It puts to mind something very solid and sure, core, at the center is something that is very strong.

The fourth line stands out as a little bit awkward to me. Just one of those ones where you might want to look at it again and think about the phrasing.

"Rewriting a known future for lost souls"- really lovely!

"Striking the humanity’s inter energy"- should it be "inter" or did you mean "inner"?

this line confuses me a little in the context of this poem:
"Given our essence away freely"

This is a really strong, saying something poem! Great job

yes in should be "inner", you how you read your work so much you skip things. As for the line "Given our essence away freely" is connected to the previous two lines, maybe that will help you understand it little more.

I'm still not totally getting that one phrase.... I don't know.
And absolutely, we all miss things. We have them in our heads the right way and therefore see it that way on the page, even when that's not there! that's why I point those sorts of things out when I see them.
