Lost Niche

Lost Niche

A Poem by apocalypse
"

"another hectic read, if you may."

"

Your head spins

Your soul in an intangible whirlpool

You gasp for breath

Choke on an undelivered thought

The jubilee is lost

The glee forgotten

This is a strange cove

The air cuts through

In that distant horizon

You see a platoon pass by

A hope kindles

You called your angels

Help has arrived

Your being will be rescued

You sigh into the hope

Your cheer still subdued

You feel another draft

The coldest yet..

The hope carriers seem to be

Walking the wrong way ...out of your vision

You stretch out an arm

Let out that hollow cry

Desperation strikes..with the shrillest alarm

You see faith slip away

This isn't your era

A vacant labyrinth

You're lost...for good

This isn't your niche

The assassins will arrive

Your existence will be slayed

Your aimless wander.. into the unknown

Will be returned.. A penance sentenced

Run along poor soul

You're another helpless victim

Undo your wander

Go cross that border

Go back to where you belong

Locate all familiarity

Don't stop till you're there

The assassins have arrived..

About
Haven't exactly figured out the "What i am" aspect of me. Self-introspection doesn't happen to be one my best talents. I am intrigued by the morose nuances of life, but that doesn't make me any less.. more..
