Fearing change

Fearing change

A Poem by apocalypse

Why do I fear change..
I guess it's 'coz it usually just takes away
More than an anticipated wonder
It horrors you out
Turning into that terrible spectre

Changes wear me out
Take away the love
Leave me a loner
Snatch away my safest cove

They drain me of all my strength
Leaving behind no familiar warmth
That's probably why I fear change
That's probably why I want nothing to derange

I like the slang.
people use it every day.
this poem reminds me of me and i guess thats why i like it even if that if a dismal reason.

I would suggest not using slang in your poetry. I'm not a fan of it. Maybe that is why I'm so apposed to it. The rest of this poem is awesome. It flows smoothly.

And nothing will ever change except for good.. I am standing here right between you and any horror.. Trust me sis.. I am here..we all are ...
And if ever anything changes.. The one thing that stays constant is the love we share.. The love that gives me this life and you as my gaurdian angel.. Will do anything but lose you ...

About
Haven't exactly figured out the "What i am" aspect of me. Self-introspection doesn't happen to be one my best talents. I am intrigued by the morose nuances of life, but that doesn't make me any less.. more..
