Invisible

Invisible

A Poem by Diane

It's invisible

And it caused quite fear

Everything shut down

And no one can come here

The world is at a standstill

And our loved ones we hold near

It's the fear of the sickness

And what it could cause

When it rips up your organs

that causes family lost

We hold on tight

Waiting for an end

We hold our head up

Waiting for a time when

We can see each other again.

Diane, I'm an unabashed "hugger". I can't wait for the time when I can go and hug those I have missed hugging, even some I hadn't thought about hugging.

It is the little things that make it hard. Like the hugs and closeness. Thank you.
I can't wait till we can re-open our world. I need a vacation to anywhere dear Diane.

And thank you for responding. I am still waiting for the time for myself.

Me too dear Diane and you are welcome.
It may be invisible, but it is here with us and we know it. Not only that it has changed our lives for good making us more insular and distant with each other. Let's hope it will go as quickly as it came Diane.

I agree. It has changed everything about the way we live. I also hope it goes away.
