the one

I kind of wrote this for myself, but I think others struggle with the same thing as well... I do not think this will reach anyone, but if it reached you. thank you for reading. I hope you come again.

Do you know that feeling when love does not feel like love?

When you friends tell you that they are not the one

but you so strongly want them to be the one for you.

So you just kind of let it get to you,

and the next thing you know is, finding yourself crying every single day.

Tolerating everything they do, or do not do.

But you just want this to be real love.

It’s the only thing you are longing for.

But it hurts so much inside,

and you begin to realise, that maybe you should let go.

But you love them way too much.

You love them way too much to let go.

You hold on to the thought, that they are the one.

You think that you will experience real love with them.

You believe that without them, you will be an empty shell,

You do not think that you will come across the person who will love you

like no one before.

The one for you,

The one who will give you exactly the amount back

you give to all others.

The one is waiting for you.
