This writing came about on Sunday, August 10, 2014. It was mid afternoon and I slipped a little and that's how this writing came about.

"
Cheers To You

Cheers to you my loved one
You have took the very best of me
I toast to you my love
Love in me exists no more
Raise your glass love
Here's to you and to the many that have broken me
I sit in this corner drinking away the memories we created
The thought of you torments me and in hopes of forgetting...
Cheers to you my love.
My body starts tingling
I'm at that point where numbness is taking over me
and I can feel my consciousness slipping
The room starts spinning as I sip my last drink
The thought of you crosses my mind and...
I toast to you my love.
