Universal Truths

Universal Truths

A Poem by Max

There will always be:

Harsh long Winters,

Lonely years of Malaise

Endless Summer nights

And cool Spring rains

Golden brisk Autumns

Tainted grey with time

And the Infinite Void

That Lovers' gaze admires

The Pain of Living

An echo of Truth

That aches in our hearts

And troubles the Youth

Indifferent airs

We consume in our breath

That provide us with life

And destroy us in Death
