strange

strange

A Poem by Samantha M. Tusspot
"

i'll tell you a secret; she did.

"
as she decayed slowly in the back
the others pointed and whispered
in voices that shook the earth and sent Mother Nature spinning
caring too much, i just do not care
caring so much, but why should i care?
as her trembling hands reached to grasp nothing
eyes rolled towards Beelzebub's sun
she stares at everything and nothing all at once
she prays she will someday resurrect.

Yup, it's odd alright, but somehow very good. The last line really makes it. It has a real dark tone to it and it kinda lets your imagination play with different ideas. Is she in the back of a car? the back of a house? and who are the others? I think the reader could interpret any one of these. I like it. Its STRANGE. Ha
