HEAVEN BOUND

I look out the window
My eyes fixated yonder
I hear the mountains call
And the voice get louder
I take a step back
And feel the void get wider
The hollow space in my heart
Of doubt and fear
I want to believe
Yet I don’t know what’s true
For I have been in the dark all along
I know I should be walking forth
If I want to find the truth
For it’s how my soul will be free
But I have been lost for long
Longer to find my path back home
I pray today as I will tomorrow
That the path I will finally choose
Will be the one to take me there
A place where I will find these three
Faith, peace and love.
