Yum Yum Yuk.

Yum Yum Yuk.

A Poem by Jason Young

Yellow, crispy, ridged, frozen, thawed

Bread-like stuff

Shaped in a circle

Smothered with delicious jams and jellies-

My favorite is the syrupy-sugary

Strawberry.

Folded in half so that all this

Sugary delight doesn’t

Fall off and make a really

Sticky mess.

Kind of bland without the jam-

Kind of makes your throat burn dry.

So I get out some milk-

This strange white liquid substance

Secreted from the glands of

A cow.

Overall,

Sounds pretty

Disgusting,

But how in the

World does it

Taste so

Good?

What a load of waffle.
