FIRE AND ICE

FIRE AND ICE

A Poem by Huggy Bear
"

A never ending shift that makes life worth living

"
The fire in your soul rages eternally
Your passion burns with desire
The thirst for more is never satisfied
Your aura prevents obstacles from existing
The fire you burn has you own a war path
You storm the earth with no real purpose
The fear of destruction is inflicted  to all

Before you self-destruct
Ice floods your soul
Ice soothes
It controls your fire
You walk with purpose

The mind, body and soul are in sync

You conquer the world with intellect
Respect is earn through your ice demeanor
Soon things slow down
Life becomes routine

Before that happens
The fire roars with a return
The cycle of fire and ice
It is never-ending

I liked the contrast and the personification of a troubled person was very well done.

This poem has a nice contrast between the fire and ice of the soul. I love that it is a continuing battle

The poem is very good. The fire and ice is a never ending battle for us to find reason to be alive. Poem tells a strong story. The ending was outstanding. A excellent poem. Thank you.

Good contrast of fire and ice. The first stanzas was my favorite. Keep up the writing.
