Onyx Glasses

Onyx Glasses

A Poem by Huggy Bear

There are many other types of glasses besides rose color glasses.

I have no such luck with life itself
Isolation infects me like an infectious disease
People stay far away from me like a leper
I slowly rot from within my mind
Peering behind onyx color glasses
The world looks monotone
People pass on by
Going about there day
Like nothing significant is going on
Their aura shows no stress.. no sense of strife
Hatred is built towards these people who have decent lives

this is a well written poem but makes the reader sense some disturbance in the dark feelings portrayed here. but I think we may all feel this way at some point in our lives. I prefer to keep the rose colored ones on but that is not always the best way to live. good write here

The rhythm scheme is a great one and the unique way you used the onyx theme for poetry and lyrical challenge group. This was well done. Your flow is a little off but the creativeness in the poem is great and it portrayed you emotions and thoughts clearly.
