DemonsA Poem by alltheloveaboveWhen nothing seems to be working out, where ever you turn.
I try to find a place where I feel safe
but demons, relentless, trace my steps. Demons, relentless, follow my lead they give me no time to catch my breath. The demons of betrayed friendship, they echo me A repeated face --- but no embrace. The demons of friendship, pulling sins a circle tight, but without me in "Friends" they're called, but strangers just gossips and whisperers, oblivious lusts. The demons of love, most painful yet there's no turning back when one's mind is set. To toil and fret is one's biggest regret A love that involves more, including the rest ... The demons of school have followed me here there is no place on earth that can be a haven with my friends and family close, there's nothing to fear but I realise now, they're nothing but a menacing raven.
