Mutant Baby Corn

Mutant Baby Corn

A Poem by N.A.
"

Made in May 2009.

"
"oh look it's a corn inside of a corn."
i walk over to see wat she's talking about
within the husk was a a little mutant vegitable
the baby corn even had it's own husk
it was growing inside the husk of the normal corn
i said, "This must be genetically modified corn."
i grab it and pull the corn husk and hair things off
i held it to my for head
With hardly any emotions or expressions,
"Look im a unicorn."
i tuned out wat she was saying in order to pretend to be an imaginary creature
i toss the corn back on the table
i dont think she got my joke
so i said, "Maybe dogs will eat it."
i walk away
i dont think she heard me
