Make Life

Make Life

A Poem by N.A.

Tired of trying to make life happen
The currents steadier and stronger than I am
Stronger than I'll ever be
It's better and greater than me
I am out there outside of this
The body is really a limited vessel
I would even call it a prison

And I should go forth with some extravegent plan?
I'm getting tired and comfortable in my
Wasted life
Hell
It almost seems like my life's not a waste
In its lack of luxury and intrigue
In its quiet melancholy
I have no destiny or luck

"Freedom
Intelligence
Love"
The superstition spreads
Into the corners of my head
I'm tired of trying to make a life
Like it has to be made
Like it isn't already here
